
DANIELLE KELLY, MSW, LCSW, LCAS
Danielle is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist providing psychotherapy for clients in North Carolina and California. She earned a Master of Social Work with honors–Phi Kappa Phi–with an emphasis in mental health at the University of Southern California. Prior to beginning her mental health career, Danielle earned both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in history from Pepperdine University. Danielle has gained extensive clinical experience through work in a variety of settings including the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Hillsborough Recovery Solutions, and private practice.
Danielle believes the foundation for effective psychotherapy is a strong client-therapist relationship built on trust, attunement, and acceptance. Her approach is collaborative and customized to your unique needs and goals. Danielle integrates elements from psychodynamic and strengths-based perspectives, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness in her practice. She attends to the emotional, physical, and environmental factors that shape you. Danielle uses warmth, empathy, and engagement to support you as you confront pain and barriers on a journey toward healing and personal growth.
