Dr. Margaret is a psychiatrist with nearly 20 years of experience providing psychiatric services. She completed her residency at Duke University Medical Center and served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Duke University. Dr. Margaret’s career interests have encompassed end-of-life care, cancer care, and rural and community mental health. She is a strong believer in working in a compassionate, integrative, team-based environment. She has extensive training and experience in the practice of Mind-Body-Spirit Medicine. Dr. Margaret co-founded Koru Mindfulness and co-authored Mindfulness for the Next Generation, a manual for this evidence-based model. Dr. Margaret offers medication management and mindfulness groups at Blūm Wellness.


Medication Management

Dr. Margaret provides psychiatric services at her office at Blūm Wellness. Medication management is offered thoughtfully and in partnership with clients. She also offers video sessions for clients throughout North Carolina. All video sessions are conducted through our HIPAA-compliant platform to protect your privacy and confidential health information.

$250 for 45-Minute Initial Visit
$125 for 25-Minute Follow-Up Visit

Koru Mindfulness Groups

Koru Mindfulness is designed to help you cope with anxiety, navigate the tasks you face, and achieve meaningful personal development. Koru Mindfulness has been developed and refined over ten years. These four-week groups offer an opportunity to learn Koru with others who seek growth, balance, and harmony.
